Anti-Spam Policy

Society Media (societymedia.org) is a service provided by Makesbridge Technology, Inc. Society Media is built on trust between people who know each other. Accordingly, every user of Society Media must comply with the standards set out below. This policy is part of our Terms of Service (Section 13, Email and automations sent on your behalf, and Section 8, Community rules).

Acceptable Use & Anti-Spam

You agree not to use Society Media to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
• Send unsolicited email (spam). You may send email only to addresses that have explicitly opted in to receiving email from you. You are required to maintain an email privacy policy and comply with all applicable laws including the CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR, and other data protection regulations applicable to your location and operations.
• Send email with false or misleading sender information or subject lines.
• Send marketing email without a valid postal address and a working unsubscribe method.
• Ignore unsubscribe requests. You must honor every unsubscribe request within 10 business days.
• Transmit harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, data, or platform infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the platform, servers, or networks.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform without permission.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
